*I have one of the CN cases cut. When that’s gone I’ll be discontinuing the DIY kits until further notice. Sorry, but I have too many things to rack and not enough hours in the day.
Here are two cases/kits I’m making for folks who want to rack their own Yamaha PM1000 projects. See details below for prices and options;
These are kits that not only contain cut and engraved front and rear panels, but the entire case including switches, IEC, Neutrik I/Os, black chickenhead or bakelite type knobs, even an on/off LED and all the necessary screws and nuts to put it all together. Look below at the list of materials, various options and prices.
There are two models from which to choose; the PM1000/C and the /CN. The C model is a variation of the design I’ve been refining for the last several years. The CN borrows some design characteristics from a British cousin whose name we won’t invoke.
So here are prices and options: The basic kit with all the parts, packed in knocked down form (you assemble)…….$369 plus shipping. To order, contact: tcs_obscure@yahoo.com or Gaudioworks@gmail.com. Send shipping address and we’ll send an invoice for the total.
With complete kits we can provide a power supply which was designed by Jason Lambson (Revive Audio) specifically to power PM1000 modules. The DIY version with all parts and a 25VA Toroidal transformer is $100; built and tested for $125.
Assembled- that is, all switches, XLRs, IEC, Bezel and LED installed…add $25 (BTW…I don’t recommend doing this as you’ll have to remove most of this stuff while you’re wiring it up- and shipping will be more expensive due to necessity for a larger box.).
